یہ ویب سائٹ چھ سے بارہ برس کے بچو ں کے لیے ایک چھوٹی سی لائبریری کی شکل میں پیش کی گئی ہے۔ اس میں دی ہوئی کہانیاں کسی خاص عمر یا جماعت کے بچوں کے لیے مخصوص نہیں ہیں۔ وجہ یہ ہے کہ ایک ہی جماعت کے، یا ہم عمر بچوں میں پڑھنے کی صلاحیت یا دلچسپیوں کا یکساں ہونا ضروری نہیں ہے۔ پھر بھی، ان کہانیوں میں ایک ہلکی پھلکی درجہ بندی موجود ہے، جس کے تحت ابتدا کی کہانیوں میں زبان آسان ہے۔ اس کے بعد زبان کی دشواری آہستہ آہستہ بڑھائی گئی ہے یہاں تک کہ آخری کہانیوں میں زبان اور سوچ دونوں گیارہ بارہ برس کے بچوں کے لیے موزوں ہیں۔ امید ہے کہ بچے خود اپنی صلاحیت اور دلچسپی کے مطابق آزادی سے کہانیوں کا انتخاب کر کے انہیں پڑھ سکیں گے اور اس طرح ان کی پڑھنے کی صلاحیت میں از خود اضافہ ہو گا۔
یہ کہانیاں فی الحال چار پاکستانی زبانوں اور انگریزی میں پیش کی جارہی ہیں: اردو، سندھی، بلوچی، پشتو، اور انگریزی۔ امید ہے کے جلد ہی یہ پنجابی اور سرائیکی میں بھی اس ویب سائٹ پر دستیاب ہوں گی۔

This free website offers a small library of stories and informative texts for children of between six to twelve years. The texts have not been graded strictly according to either age or school level; the reason being that even in a single classroom all children have neither identical competence in reading, nor the same interests. We hope that these loosely categorized texts (they range from the simplest in the beginning to those catering to more and more experienced readership as the stories go on) will allow children to read whatever attracts them, even if it is slightly above or below the level that is supposed to be right for their age or school level. The idea is to let them explore the passages freely, so that they can find what appeals to them, and in this way be enticed into reading. In a nutshell, the unrestrictive grouping of reading competence invites every child to read in any order they like, whichever of the contents takes their fancy.
Each text appears in five languages: Urdu, Sindhi, Balochi, Pashto, and English. The publisher hopes to include Punjabi and Saraiki in the not too distant future.
